A Pioneer for Female Singers in Iran

Haideh, regarded as one of Iran’s leading female vocalists, had a considerable influence in the region with her distinct voice and enduring passion for music. Born in 1941 in the city of Kermanshah, Iran, Haideh started her musical journey at the early age of 12, following in the footsteps of her mother who was an accomplished singer herself.
